This brand new programme is designed to support students in educational settings to widen their understanding of the arts industry as an option for higher education and as a viable profession. This programme is suitable for both GCSE, AS and A2 students, it is also a useful option for mature students entering the industry. The content is ideal for both aspiring teachers and educators as well as performers, with mix and match workshops allowing you to tailor the content to suit their specific needs. A workshop into the arts profession can often answer a lot of questions, provide new inspiration and skill as well as supporting those big decisions.
Inspiration days are neatly packaged up into 4 mini workshops, between 1 and 4 different subjects can be selected for a 4 hour full programme.
Workshop content can include up to 4 of the following –
- Actor Well Being
- Presence and Status
- Vocal and Physical Training
- Theatre in Education
- Applied Theatre Practise
- Facilitation Skills
- Audition Tips and Tricks
- Breaking into the Industry
- Becoming a Professional
Delivery of each workshop will be a combination of theory and practical exploration. The course fee is £100.00, including up to 4 of the mini, 1 hour workshops which can be spread as you wish across the school day.
